A Welcome from the Headteacher
May I take this opportunity to welcome you to Broseley C of E Primary school. I am proud to be the Headteacher here, where children are at the heart of everything we do.
Broseley C of E is a happy, caring school where high standards of achievement are obtained by our children due to the exciting and creative teaching and learning experiences we offer our children. We strongly believe that children have the best chance of succeeding when school and parents work closely together. We are all committed to building strong links between home and school to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
Our aim is to make learning enjoyable, allowing every individual to reach their potential and to nurture their talents, as well as equipping them with the skills they will need to be responsible citizens and happy, caring adults in the future. We work hard to develop the whole child and thus offer many opportunities for the children to develop their musical, artistic and sporting talents. Please see our photo gallery to view a range of the activities that children are able to access at our school.
The school is at the heart of the local community and we work in close partnership with local organisations, creative practitioners and local residents to ensure that the children receive the highest quality education. We work very closely with a local conservation group who allow us access to a local nature reserve. The children visit weekly and undertake a range of activities to support this programme, whilst learning aboout the local fauna and flora.
As a Church of England school we offer a Christian education which promotes the ethos, values and teaching of the church. We have strong links with the local church, the local Rector being a regular visitor in school.
I hope the website gives a true flavour of Broseley C of E Primary: the well-behaved, friendly and hard-working children; the talented, welcoming staff who are passionate about achieving the very best for our children; the supportive and interested governors; and the caring and positive parents who all make this school a special place to be.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me or call into the school. You can be assured of a warm Broseley welcome.
