The school has a practical and sensible uniform code which recognises the expense involved in buying a uniform. The school colours are jade green and navy. The children have designed the logo of which they are very proud. Uniform is available to purchase from SR Embroidery located in Broseley High Street. Sample garments are kept in the office for sizing purposes. Navy blue polo’s, black or grey trousers/dresses or skirts complete the uniform. Girls are allowed to wear green summer dresses during the summer term, but the school does not stock these.
Our code is as follows:
•Navy or White polo shirts
•Green Sweatshirts with school logo
•Plain, dark trousers or skirts
•Sensible, practical shoes
Your child should always wear flat-heeled shoes in school as high heels can be dangerous. Jewellery should not be worn.
If earrings are essential for any reason, these should be flat studs, and restricted to one only in each ear lobe. Make-up is not permitted in school unless stated by a medical practitioner for cosmetic purposes. We ask children to remove earrings during PE lessons.
Suitable PE kit is essential in the interests of safety and hygiene. For these reasons your child should have a change of appropriate clothing for PE and games. Children are required to wear a plain white or green T-shirt and a black / dark navy pair of shorts. These are very easy to purchase and very inexpensive. Suitable footwear should be in school for outdoor use e.g. trainers or pumps.
Clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name. Please remember we have limited space in school and a normal sized pump bag is preferable to the large kit bags that are now on the market.
Jewellery should not be worn, this is for health and safety reasons.
